Harsh Splendour describes one of the greatest of history's great escapes, the nine-month journey of a Tibetan family and their 15-year-old daughter, Palya, through some of the world's most spectacular terrain and fearsome weather.
With scenery and weather by Microsoft Flight Simulator, music by India Gailey and Jeff Reilly, this spacious, contemplative video follows the escapees’ route, inviting us to slow down, engage with what they went through, and what they achieved – a journey to inspire us all.
