Some tips on doing the headstand 1. Use arms to push away to adjust the weight on the head, so as to adjust the load the neck takes. People who try headstands often get neck issues, often its due to resting too much on the head, when the neck is not that strong and without adjusting the weight on the head. 2. Use the feet to walk the bum till its slightly beyond the head, then it will be easy to bring the feet off the ground, ie. stacking the weight. If the weight is not stacked, you would have to kick or jump which is not so precise an entry. 3. When coming down, keep the hips beyond the shoulders to counter balance the weight, then the legs can come down softly.
