Hearing Services Program – Minimum Specifications for Subsidised Devices

Keeping hearing device standards aligned with advances in hearing technology is critical to quality hearing care. Funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, this project reviewed the minimum specifications for subsidised hearing devices under the Australian Government’s Hearing Services Program. Led by the National Acoustic Laboratories, the work assessed current hearing technology and outlines key recommendations for contemporary hearing care.
