Heart wall hanging Part 1

Hello and welcome to my channel! In this project, we’re creating a beautiful handmade wall hanging together — something that develops organically as we go along. I wanted this design to be versatile enough to suit any space, whether it’s a nursery, living room, teenager’s bedroom, or anywhere else in your home that could use a little handmade charm. For this wall hanging, I’m using a mixture of fabric hearts, felt hearts, embroidery, ribbons, tassels, lace, beads, and even some crochet hearts for a mixed-media effect. I’ve chosen a soft purple colour palette for mine, but you can completely personalise yours with any colours or fabrics you love — rainbow colours, neutrals, bright prints, anything goes! In this tutorial, I’ll show you: * How to trace and cut fabric hearts * Sewing and stuffing puffy fabric hearts * Adding hanging loops and decorative lace * Back stitch and ladder stitch techniques * Simple embroidery including stem stitch and lazy daisy stitch * Ideas for embellishing with ribbons, beads, tassels, flowers, and charms You can hang your finished hearts from a natural branch, an embroidery hoop, or any frame you like to create a unique decorative piece. This project is designed to be relaxed, creative, and beginner-friendly — there’s no need for perfection. We’re simply making something sweet and pretty together while learning new stitches and techniques along the way. I’m currently working around a shoulder injury, so the project will be split into shorter parts, but I’ll upload them in quick succession so you can easily follow along.
