ACT I — Heartbreak
The girl meets someone
who looks like salvation.
That person is like the sun—
too bright, too warm,
as if every wound could disappear
just by standing near them.
She calls it love.
But it was never love.
It was the beginning of devotion.
She believes
that for this person,
she could give up everything.
Even herself.
“You can have my name,
my breath,
my prayers—
if it means I can stay.”
This was the first sin:
Mistaking love for faith.
