The heater valve had completely seized, so I decided to replace it. While researching part numbers online, I discovered three different versions of the part, depending on the year and model:
1) A basic valve with a plastic body (~50–70€)
2) A dual-valve version (~50–70€)
3) A version that includes a valve and an electric water pump (~160–250€)
Since 250€ was well beyond my budget, I started looking for a more cost-effective solution. After comparing the three variants, I noticed that despite differences in tubing and configuration—one with a single valve, one with two valves, and one with a valve and pump—the valve component itself appeared to be the same across all versions. So, I decided to buy the cheapest version and simply swap the valve.
