Heater will only work on High Setting

In this video, I'll show you how to replace the blower resistor on a 2005 Ford F-250, although the process is quite similar for many other vehicles. If your heater is only working on the high setting, that's a common sign that the blower resistor is blown, as the high setting is the default when the resistor fails. Not only did I need to replace the resistor, but I also had to swap out the wiring harness due to severe corrosion. The replacement kit cost around $15 and included the resistor, the new harness, and four splices to complete the job. I used heat shrink splices for added durability and weatherproofing.
