Helldivers 2: Locking In

We were ordered to evacuate civilians... The squids however, weren't too keen on letting us escape with even just a handful of our good citizens. We pushed on, even with our backs were against the walls and reinforcements were being depleted, we remained strong no matter how much the squids called in their dropships. The shuttle was filled eventually. Unfortunately, the time remaining wasn't enough, the efforts of getting the civilians took so much of our time and so the emergency protocols to pick us up has been sent. I figured, it was to be our last stand, given the numbers of those tyrannical squids where throwing at us... A shame really, I've always thought I'd die liberating or passing away in Hellmire... Either through sheer luck or my instinct to survive, I managed to get out of that mission, samples included. Maybe Lady Liberty and Lady Luck still wants me to continue serving Super Earth.
