This video will give a brief overview of how hemoglobin was discovered, its structure and function as well as understanding the role of hemoglobin in breathing. A common pathology associated with hemoglobin dysfunction will also be described. This video was created by a group of McMaster students in a knowledge translation course for the Demystifying Medicine series: Elizabeth Chan, Hannah Cho, Zainab Naimpoor, Rubaid Dhillon and Pavan Matharu.
