This beautiful stitch creates a dense, woven texture that looks like tiny diagonal arrows. It’s elegant, sturdy, and perfect for scarves, cowls, hats, or home décor projects. I’ll start with the flat version to show you how the pattern forms, then I’ll guide you step by step through adapting it for circular knitting to get a smooth, seamless finish. You can cast on any number of stitches, and the pattern repeats over two simple rows. I’m using worsted weight yarn with 3.5 mm needles for flat knitting and 4.5 mm circulars for knitting in the round.
