https://a.co/d/0gX9WMUA This podcast discusses two of my books, "The Future 2020" and "Foretell the Future with the I Ching and My Calendar of Days." Regarding the first edition, titled "Foretell the Future with the I Ching and My Calendar of Days," this insightful book/calendar introduces readers to "The I Ching" or "Book of Changes" and explains how it inspired the creation of a perpetual calendar. My calendar, based on the 64 hexagrams, assigns a hexagram to each day on "My Calendar of Days," offering a perspective on the present, past, and future. The calendar serves as a tool to understand the interconnectedness of events across time. My primary focus with this perpetual calendar is identifying appropriate times for fasting. Hexagram 36 days, as marked on my calendar, suggest a three-day fast as an act of atonement. During this period, I consume raw, fresh fruit juice. Knowing when to fast and when to limit activities is enlightening. I often take a three-to-seven-day break from work to detoxify my body and avoid potential harm. Hexagram 36 symbolizes injury, often self-inflicted through poor choices such as alcohol consumption, smoking, or neglecting practices like meditation and yoga, while overindulging in passive activities like excessive television watching. Hexagram 1, "The Creative," reflects the profound connection between humanity and the divine. For Hexagram 36, understanding the days it influences helps me avoid unnecessary risks, starting three days before and continuing three days after the specified date, following a bell curve pattern. Another example of self-crucifixion can arise in similar contexts.
