High Alert

Just back to Qatar for work and given the current tensions and hostilities, the title of High Alert seemed apt. Watched a recent modular video from @raafmodular which energised me into creation. There is quite a lot going on in this patch and a few voices. All voices except the pads are sequenced by #five12 from #vectorsequencer The key is D minor. Voice 1 is 4 step feeding #Oxi #Coral and then filtered by #backendfilter from #kenmacbeth Voice 2 is 5 step feeding #plaits with some DX7 patch in it then going to #blaknblu filter modulated by #ochd Voice 3 is 8 step feeding #blackcorporation #INE-SIS which is a Juno 60 interpretation. Voice 4 is using triggers going into #Intellijel #steppy that is used to trigger envelopes in #xaocdevices #zadar at different rates. The envelopes are being used to modulate the sequence of voice 1 and 3 at the sequencer level in Five12 to adjust gate length, rate and transposition. The pitch CV is going to #makenoise #STO and then to #mutableinstruments #ripples which I am manually adjusting filter sweep and resonance. Voice 5 is coming from the #NDLR into #knobula #polycinematic with one channel from Zadar to the filter input. There are two keyboards where I am improv'ing some lead line. Both are software instruments in Logic Pro. The keyboard with the lighting keys is one I got on kickstarter many years ago and is playing a Mellotron type sound, while the other is playing a cello sound with some delay and reverb so give it that slide effect. Drums are added in Logic Pro. The channels are all recorded through #SSL #Bigsix mixer and there some effect been added by #somalabs #cosmos which is out of frame.
