High Ponytail Hair Tutorial

The intense heat in the summer is exacerbated by sweaty hair getting into your face and mouth. I want to share with you our favorite high ponytail hair tutorial because it is a perfect summer hairstyle to help keep the hair out of your face when it is hot! Here is a written step by step process of how to make a beautiful high pony: • The first step to creating your high ponytail is to start with some face framing. Tale out a little bit of hair out to frame your face and help make this hairstyle appear soft and natural. Note: having some hair around your face will also help cover a lot of postpartum hair if this is something you are struggling with. • Gather your hair up as high on your head as possible to create the classic high ponytail hairstyle. • If you have some bumps in your hairstyle, this is okay! I try to make my hair a little messy when doing my favorite high ponytail. • Take your hair scarf, put it in your high ponytail, and tie it a few times if you need the hair scarf to be shorter. • Pull out some hair on the top to give your high ponytail some volume. • Take a comb, take the first layer of your ponytail and tease your hair. • Do this same teasing process on the next section and on the next section. • Flip your hair over and smooth it out. Tease it in the middle to make it look thicker as well. This will help complete your beautiful high ponytail hairstyle. • Spray some Kenra hairspray in your high ponytail to make sure it stays all day!
