In this video you can see the high speed 2D-Code Scanners Datalogic M300N and Keyence SR-1000 in operation. The maximum reading speed in this setup is 28 codes per Second, read without errors.
The setup includes a sequence in which an intentionally false code (red cross) is NOT scanned correctly and this will be indicated by a red LED flash. The scanners are triggered by different sources: the Datalogic uses an metal-detection sensor (inductive) that senses the passing of a metal fin with the code, whereas the Keyence SR-1000 uses a trigger system with a laser beam interruption.
