Highlighting Weekends in Excel Table

In this video, I will answer a question I get asked time and time again. How to highlight weekends in Excel. I love this question/answer as it shows a great way of thinking outside the box or just how knowing parts of Excel that are beyond basics can help you in all kinds of situations. We will highlight weekends in Excel in two ways. First, highlighting just dates and then highlighting entire rows belonging to dates that occur on weekends—a great exercise in Conditional Formatting and absolute referencing in Excel. This tutorial was made using Excel 365, but the techniques shown apply to all Excel versions from 2007 onwards.
