The strength of your pelvis and lower extremities are very important in assisting you with the stabilization of your pelvis, low back and spine as well as improving your overall ability to maintain your balance.
Prolonged sitting throughout the day increases your fall risk due to weakness that will occur in and around your hip muscles.
If your strength in these areas are poor it will lead to an increase in episodes of falls.
This hip adduction exercise will improve your strength and help reduce your risk of falls!
