This video shows the embroider how to float the fabric on top of the stabilizer vs hooping the fabric. Floating the fabric is a great alternative to hooping especially if you do not have a grid (needed for hooping) or you have difficulty manipulating and lining up the fabric in a hoop. More and more people are moving to the floating method because it is so much quicker....once you get the hang of it!
