This video is an updated version of my previous video that described a metal casting process called hot chamber die casting.
The hot chamber die casting process is used to cast comparatively low melting temperature metals like aluminium, zinc, magnesium and tin.
The hot chamber die casting machine has a heated crucible that melts a metal charge and keeps it molten, in contrast to cold chamber die casting in which the charge is melted in a remote crucible, then the molten metal is carried from the crucible to the cold chamber die casting machine shot chamber.
