Hot Set Test
Reference Standard: TS EN 60811-2-1
Hot set test is applied to the cross linked plastics.
The plastic is marked at 20 mm intervals.
The cable waits in the oven at 200-250 °C for 15 minutes.
While weight is attached, the elongation value is measured and the change percentage is calculated.
By cutting weight, the gathering of plastics is provided.
By measuring the marked sections again, the change percentage is calculated.
The results should be within tolerances specified in the standards.
