How a Computer Starts Up | Booting Process Explained
This video is explaining how a computer starts up (booting process explained). When you press the power button, your computer wakes up like a person opening their eyes. First, electricity flows into the system and the motherboard tells all the important parts—like the CPU (brain), RAM (short-term memory), and storage—to get ready. A tiny program stored on the motherboard, called BIOS or UEFI, runs a quick check to make sure everything is working properly. This step is like a health check-up. If something is wrong, the computer may beep or show an error. If everything looks good, it moves on to the next step. After that, the computer looks for the operating system (like Windows or Linux) on the hard drive or SSD. Once it finds it, it loads it into memory and starts it up. This process is called booting. The operating system then takes control, setting up drivers, starting background services, and preparing the user interface. After a few moments, you see the login screen or desktop, and your computer is ready to use.
