This webinar features Paul Keutelian, owner at Quartermaster Consulting, demonstrating how to do rapid design iteration and mesh refinement for a rod heater simulation using Coreform Cubit and MOOSE. Coreform Cubit can be used to accelerate open-source simulations in MOOSE for nuclear energy and other applications. In this webinar, Paul demonstrates both how to create initial meshes using Coreform Cubit, as well as how to use Coreform Cubit and MOOSE together to iterate on meshes for faster and more reliable solutions. Paul will show this on a heat transfer simulation of a heater using both the Coreform Cubit GUI and Python functionality. Learning objective #1: Meshing and refining assemblies with Coreform Cubit + MOOSE Learning objective #2: Use Python in Coreform Cubit to iterate on a design rapidly Learning objective #3: Show modeling benefits of using a Coreform Cubit + MOOSE workflow To learn more about using Coreform Cubit, contact Matt Sederberg at [email protected] or schedule a meeting here: https://meetings.hubspot.com/matthew-sederberg/new-business-calls.
