CheyTac M200 Intervention is a bolt-action sniper rifle designed for extreme long-range shooting.
The M200 was designed by CheyTac USA LLC and introduced in 2001. It was based on the EDM Arms Windrunner rifle. The rifle was designed as a Soft Target Interdiction System for engaging targets at extreme distances. It is known for its sub-MOA accuracy at ranges up to 2,500 yards (2,286 meters). chambered in the .408 CheyTac or .375 CheyTac cartridges, which were specially developed for long-range accuracy. features a free-floating heavy-fluted barrel, a detachable 7-round box magazine, and a Picatinny rail for mounting optical sights. It also includes a folding bipod and a carrying handle.
