VFD switching frequency refers to the rate at which the DC bus voltage is switched on and off during the pulse width modulation (PWM) process. Harmonic distortion occurs when a #VFD converts power from an AC to a variable frequency output to a motor. The harmonics occur as the transistors rapidly turn on and off at a rapid speed. Harmonic distortion in a drive can be reduced by increasing the speed the at which the IGBTs operate to get a cleaner sine wave for better motor operation. #PulseWidthModulation #PWM #VariableFrequencyDrives ► Learn more about VFD Switching Frequency: * https://kebamerica.com/blog/vfd-switching-frequency/ ► Subscribe to Our Channel Here: * https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=KEBAmericaInc -- Follow KEB America Here -- * Website: https://www.kebamerica.com * LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/keb-america-inc * Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KEBAmericaInc/ * Twitter: https://twitter.com/kebamerica * Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/keb_america
