How I made a 24ft Fork
Or 300kg for the rest of us. haha This epic journey of how a Joke turned into Thornhill's Fork (even on Google maps) This 7.3meter fork is definitely a jump up in scale from the spoon. Definitely opened up new dimensions to what we can do in are small shop. I think ill have to work out a bit before I can start using it though. Massive achievement all documented and amazingly edited by Aaron Wahab. This would never have happened without us joking about saying ahhhh 6meters is too small. https://instagram.com/aaronwahab?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== We couldn't have made it if it wasn't for Michael letting us use his plasma, trailer support and advice. Absoulutly huge thank you! https://www.facebook.com/MKWeldingLtd It also definitely wouldn't look as good if it wasn't galvanised so thank you to highland galvanisers! https://instagram.com/highland_galvanizers?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== For helping me put it up on my building nice and carefully so I still have gutters, Broatch construction! (you all have seen my driving so this was a life saver) and thank you very much to all of Thornhill for putting up with me Hahaha My website https://www.natesforge.uk/ 0:00 Intro 0:24 Scaling the Fork 1:04 Cutting on the Plasma 2:54 Making the Handle 11:40 Making the Tines 16:47 Test fit 17:04 Finishing the Fork 20:36 Taking the Fork to Galvanising 21:56 Galvanising the Fork 24:13 Driving Home 24:34 Standing the Fork up 25:06 The Fork is done!
