How I Replaced Gaming With Coding

6 Years ago during college, I made the decision to quit gaming to invest my free time towards becoming a Software Engineer. I used to play hours on end, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and other popular online games. I knew that the time I wasted gaming while listening to streamers, is a precious time that I should be instead using to grow my technical skills that will be crucial for performing as a Software Engineer. That process was nothing less than emotionally painful, and it was something I failed to do so many times, each time telling myself I will start tomorrow, or not really committing to that change when I did decide to.
