How Long Do Treenets Last? - 2 Month Update

Hey everyone! Here is the two month update for our makeshift treenets. For those of you that want the spark notes version here you go: So far, we've noticed a lot of changes in the color of the nylon nets but not much has changed for the polyester nets. I'll make another update at 6 months, 1 year and then every other year after that. Once we hit 8 years, we'll dismantle these nets and break test each individual piece including the perimeter rope! I placed these nets out in the elements on August 15, 2024 and plan to make follow up videos on the following dates: - February 15, 2024 - August 15, 2024 - And every year after... I haven't quite defined the absolute end goal of this experiment but I figured that after 5-8 years it would be a good idea to break test all of the materials in order to see how well everything held up. If you've got some interest in this, please provide some input down in the comments as to how this experiment can be more thoughtfully produced.
