In this video I want to go over the topic of using Microsoft Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) in Excel and Word. This is a powerful data-sharing tool and you should be aware of it.
OLE uses a software architecture that Microsoft built years ago called Component Object Model (COM). There are other applications that use COM for inter-application sharing purposes. For example, the video create tool that I use is TechSmith Camtasia. This software comes with a COM capability that allows one to record to Camtasia directly from Microsoft PowerPoint.
