Stylized fire done frame by frame in toonboom harmony premium. Its really important to simplify it as much as its possible to not get distracted by tiny bits that are flying around... As well as trying to animate it part by part based on the base animation on simplified animation. That should help you manage more complicated shapes in a very easy way and leaves almost no room for mistakes if you will make that base correctly. Animating fire is fun and i recommend to try it!
