How to Animate Overlapping Action in Adobe Flash

Blog post will follow at https://www.animationjuice.com soon! This is episode #003 of the bouncing ball series where we're exploring and solidifying the basic principles of animation. In this episode we look at overlapping action. I take you through my process of approaching animating an overlapping tail animating on a bouncing ball. We cover the importance of animating along 'figure 8' arcs and really 'feeling' the motion. This is hand drawn animation as I really want to think about each frame of the motion to solidify the learning of the basic principles, namely arcs, squash and stretch, spacing and of course, overlapping action!
