Left-click "Default Page Style", then go to the "Area" or "Background" tab and choose "Color". Pick any color from the palette, click "Apply" and then "OK". Finally, use "Toggle Print Preview" to see your new background. ➡️ Next, create a gradient background. In the same menu, select "Gradient". Choose your preferred style and colors – you can mix two or more shades. Click "Apply" and "OK", then check the result with "Toggle Print Preview". Gradients add a smooth, professional transition between colors. ➡️ Finally, add an image background. Under "Image" instead of using sample pictures, import your own image. In "Options", pick a style like "Stretched" to fill the whole page. Click "Apply". Then go to "Transparency", select "Area Transparency Mode" and adjust the transparency level to your liking. Click "OK" and preview with "Toggle Print Preview". This is great for watermarks or branded backgrounds. These techniques work for changing document background color, applying a gradient background, or setting a picture as your page backdrop. You can easily customize reports, flyers, resumes, or any other document.
