Sometimes customer tell us to change DB Name as per their need. Usually it doesn't happens.
But in some cases we do this e.g when we restore/clone existing DB , that time we usually use to change DB name to some other name.
There are multiple ways to do this activity :
e.g:
Method 1: Using NID utility
Method 2: By Creating new Controlfile
Today we will perform this task with Method 1 :
