In the video I show you how to create a beat with programming in front-end javascript inside a web browser. If you know how to code you don't need to use a mouse to click around in a DAW. I'm using webmidi.js and Logic Pro as my DAW, but you can do this with other DAWs as well. I'll be using javascript in this example but you could take these principles and use other languages too. Instead of setting up a web server you can type "file://" in chrome's address bar and then find the html file (or alternatively drag the html file onto your web browser).
