📖 In 5 steps:
1. Turn off the vehicle's ignition.
2. Locate and connect the OBDII cable to the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC).
3. Turn on the ignition. The engine can be off or running.
4. Press ENTER/EXIT to access the Diagnostic Menu. Observe the messages as the vehicle protocol is detected.
5. If a 'LINKING ERROR!' message appears, ensure ignition is ON, check cable connection, and verify OBD2 compliance. Retry from step 4 after turning off ignition for 10 seconds.
