How to decrease PH and keep Alkalinity the same (pool chemicals/chemistry)

-Use MURIATIC acid to: -decrease pH -alkalinity (does not change) -How to use -do NOT pour directly into pool from the bottle. It will sink to the bottom and damage ur vinyl/plaster -pour into a bucket full of water (always pour water in first and then muriatic acid) -pour in Deep End of pool -brush in pool so it doesn’t sit on bottom -Cheapest way to reduce pH -if u have waterfalls/running water, ur ph will increase every week until it reaches a plateau. Use muriatic acid to reduce the pH but keep alkalinity the same -Accidental Spill -hose down area -neutralize area with baking soda
