How to draw a diamond ring - Spoken Tutorial

Learn how to draw a diamond ring with illustrator and YouTube NextUp winner, Shoo Rayner. Suggested by YouTube friend soundtrackiwalkto this is a tutorial of how to draw a diamond solitaire ring. I've cobbled this drawing together by looking at four or five pictures I found. The lighting you get on Jeweller's pictures is not very natural, so I've imagined a lot of the shading. It would have been good to draw it from life to see the difference. Maybe I will do this one day soon so you can see what I mean. this is drawn on cartridge/bristol paper with a 7B Faber Castell 9000 series pencil.
