How to Embed Interactive Google Maps in Webflow (100+ Markers)
Atlist — https://www.atlist.com/?c=video_webflow_maps Google My Maps — https://google.com/mymaps Webflow is an incredible website builder — but its built-in map element is pretty limited: you need an API key, you’re stuck with a single marker, you can’t style it, you can’t remove points of interest, and clicking a marker doesn’t even open a proper popup. So in this video, I’ll show you how to fix that. You’ll learn how to embed fully interactive maps on a Webflow website, including: - Thousands of markers - Custom-styled markers - Modal pop-ups with photos, titles, and notes - Search so visitors can find locations near them - Filters, lists, and custom map styles I’ll walk through two map maker tools that work great with Webflow: - Google My Maps (free, but limited) - Atlist (paid, but far more customizable) We’ll start with Google My Maps to see what it does well — and where it falls short — then move on to Atlist to build a more powerful, polished map experience and embed it directly into Webflow using an Embed block. I’ll also explain why tools like Atlist can’t realistically be free, and when it actually makes sense to use Google My Maps instead.
