Deleting images in-camera does not actually remove all traces of the images. This will clutter up your SD card and you are more likely to get errors. In this video, I show you how to format a camera card in a Nikon D5200. The process should be the same for most Nikon cameras. If you have another brand of camera, please check your manual for details on how to do this. I also answer the question "why should I format my sd card?"
