How to Get A Programming Gig

The quarantine is leaving a lot us out of jobs and projects. It's a necessary, but brutal time. But you can still find some work right now doing small development projects like websites, mobile apps, basic games, etc. What have you tried recently in order to generate some business? Reach out to family and friends? Contact local businesses? Message people on LinkedIn? I've done a variety of them all and they do work. It does require a grind and many denials, but it's a viable method if you're willing to do the work and just reach out to people. Lastly, don't expect your first projects to bring in 6-figure income. Start small and get your feet wet.
