How to get DEEP CONNECTION between the notes [Violin technique]
This is one of my favorite ways of practicing for connection. The different parts of connection I will discuss here are: string crossing motion/trajectory in the right arm, leading the way with early left-hand fingers, the sensation of round string crossings, and feeling string-crossings as double stops using examples from J. Dont, Tchaikovsky Concerto and Brahms Sonata No.1 Please excuse the absence of my usual production quality! So, can you hear what's going on between your notes?
