How To Install a Motion Sensor Light Switch

This video shows you the steps to install a new motion sensor light switch to a closet or anywhere you want to add convenience and energy efficiency to your home. These switches will turn a light on automatically when someone enters the area and then they will automatically turn off after a programmed number of minutes. This is a great solution for parents who grow frustrated by kids who leave lights on. The front entry closet doesn’t have a light and it makes it difficult to find things, especially at night when the adjacent hallway is also fairly dark. So a new motion sensor switch was added to turn on and off a new LED light added to the closet ceiling. The same approach can be used in bathrooms, laundry rooms, bedrooms… anywhere it would be convenient to have a light turn on automatically when you enter.
