Step 1: Update Kali Linux Ensure your Kali Linux system is up to date by running the following commands in the terminal: sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade Step 2: Install Beef-XSS To install Beef-XSS using apt, execute the following command in the terminal: sudo apt install beef-xss Step 3: Start Beef-XSS Once the installation is complete, you can start Beef-XSS by running the following command: sudo beef-xss This will start the Beef-XSS server, and you will see the URL and port where the web interface is accessible. Step 4: Access Beef-XSS Web Interface Open a web browser and navigate to the URL and port displayed in the terminal when you started Beef-XSS. By default, it should be something like http://127.0.0.1:3000/ui/. You should now be able to access the Beef-XSS web interface and begin using it. Please note that the version available through apt may not always be the latest, as it depends on the Kali Linux repository updates. If you require the most recent version, you may still need to perform a manual installation using other methods, such as the git-based installation mentioned earlier.
