How-To: Install Curb Roller Drum

Curb Roller CM4000 & 41000 Drum Installation Steps: WARNING: To avoid injury, the Curb Roller must be disconnected from its power source before installing or removing drums. 1. Lift the frame over the drum shaft. On the drive side, frame should be placed between the sprocket and bearing. 2. Bolt the bearings onto the frame. The heads of the bolts should be closest to the drum. 3. Place the chain around the sprockets and connect with the connector link. 4. Tighten chain until the sag is 2% of the distance between the sprockets. Making the chain too tight may result in damaging the chain and sprockets. Tighten the motor bolts. 5. Attach the chain cover. 6. Install the drum sweep assembly using the three wing nuts. Note: drum sweep can be trimmed with utility knife to fit drum.
