How to Install On Linux - 2021 GIMP Tutorial

GIMP is a great open-source image editing software. It has excellent functionality and is a great alternative to paid software like Photoshop. In this video, I will show you how to install GIMP in Linux using 2 different methods. 1. Using your Linux Distribution's Package Manager Simply search for GIMP and click to install. 2. Using the Commandline (for Ubuntu, PopOS and other Debian-based distributions) sudo apt install gimp 3. Installing the Flatpak version First you would need to setup Flatpak. Some distributions are set up out of the box but in case yours isn't, simply head over to www.flathub.org, click on "Quick Setup" and follow the setup instructions for your distribution. You only need to do the Flatpak setup once. You can install any Flatpak application thereafter.
