In this Carveco tutorial I show how to make a clock and get the spacing for the numbers correct. This is a step-by-step process that simplifies layout.
The carve is done on a Onefinity journeyman. The stock is a piece of Black Walnut that was given to me by an Amish friend. He was going to toss in the burn pile, and I said nope, I'll take it. I am using a down cut 1/4 inch from Bits N Bits to do the major roughing. Then a 60 degree for the v carve. On the antlers at the top, I use a 1/8 Whiteside flat end mill and then the 60-degree V bit.
