It was my first time attempting to build a mallet so I tried to do something a bit different by adding some veneers between the different sections at glue up,it was very hard to keep all the pieces aligned and some moved during clamping so I had to trim the mallet to make it square when the glue had dried.The main mistake I made was with the dowels I have no drill press so they are misaligned.
