It's a great DIY project, and it makes a lovely birthday or holiday gift for someone special. You'll only need to use the square knot for this pattern. The slightly tricky part is tying the knots with short, thin strings. If you find it challenging with the recommended lengths in the video, you can cut the cords a bit longer, around 5 cm.
