How to make NBA Shot Charts (PYTHON) | FlightReacts Inspired
I will show you how you can make NBA Shot Charts for all NBA players in any given season (step-by-step). After watching FlightReact's reaction to his own shot chart (made by Legend of Winning), I got an idea to use Python to create the shot charts for all possible NBA players. Using the nba_api, we can get the necessary shot location data to create the shot charts. And, with Pythons extensive data manipulation and visualization libraries we can plot the shots on to a chart. If you're familiar with basic python this should be fairly easy to follow.
