How to Pack Silverware
https://www.upack.com/articles/how-to-pack-silverware Your everyday silverware gets used a lot, so you want to make sure it travels safe and sound to your new home, ready to use when you need it – so how do you properly pack it for the move? Find out in this helpful video tutorial! Here are the supplies you’ll need: a small moving box, packing paper or a small roll of stretch wrap with a tension control handle, tape, and a marker. First, line the box with crushed packing paper to give the tray some cushion when you set it inside. Next, wrap the tray. You can either wrap it in plastic wrap, or in packing paper – your choice! If you want to wrap it in plastic wrap (also known as stretch wrap), simply use the tension control handle to guide the wrap around the tray. Since plastic wrap sticks to itself, you don’t need tape to secure it around the tray. If you prefer to wrap in packing paper, follow these steps: take a half sheet of crushed packing paper and place it on top of the tray. This will help keep the silverware secure. Then, take the tray and place it on top of a stack of packing paper. Wrap the tray in several sheets of packing paper, like a present. Tape the packing paper around the tray – but not the tray itself- to keep it secure. Once the tray is wrapped – either in plastic wrap or packing paper – place it directly into the box to where the bottom side of the tray lies flat in the box. Fill any gaps with crushed packing paper, then close the box, tape it shut, and label the outside of the box with the contents inside. And that’s it! Now your silverware is packed and ready for the move. ***Follow us for more video how-to's and moving tips!*** Subscribe to our channel: https://bit.ly/SubscribetoUPack Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UPackMoving/ Visit the U-Pack blog: https://www.upack.com/articles Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/upackmoving Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/upackmoving
