How to Practice Drawing - The Weekly Method

Tips Tip 1 - Keep your artwork Tip 2 - DATE that artwork Tip 3 - Redraw and compare artwork periodically. Tip 4 - Draw what you feel like drawing. If it's a chore, and you're not getting paid for the artwork, then don't draw it. Brains love having fun and are much more condusive to learning, and if you and your squishy jelly noodle aren't having fun then don't draw that. Tip 5 - Speaking of boring - find artists that are fresh to you. Don't have to necessarily be new artists to the industry, just new to your squishy jelly noodle brain. Tip 6 - Don't feel the pressure to draw for social media - draw for yourself. Tip 7 - Don't immediately erase mistakes. Tip 8 - Speaking of mistakes - flip ya damn artwork. Tip 9 - Speaking of flipping out *british slang for having a barney which is british slang for having a bad time, take a break. Tip 10 - When you're back and feeling zen. Try not to zoom in when you're drawing. When you zoom in you're losing overall perspective of the drawing.
