How to Teach Comparing Numbers Using the Dot Method

Comparing numbers with the dot method is a new way to teach students an essential mathematical skill. While the "alligator" method is still effective, teaching young students how to compare numbers by using the dot method will help them in in later grades and with more complex math skills.
